I started this painting a couple of years ago at a nearby lake that rents kayaks.  While I was there, this fisherman came buy and settled in to spend some quiet time fishing.  I wasn't sure how long he would be there and I wanted to make sure I had a good start on him as nothing else was going to move.  I took a couple of photos, started painting and about 30 minutes later he left.  I was so glad I had an image to work from so I could continue it in my studio.  I pulled it out last week and finally finished it up.
